June 25, 1951 – May 22, 2016
A memorial gathering of family and friends will be from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at the Daniel-Anderson Funeral Home in Paynesville for Catherine E. Hartmann, age 64, of Paynesville. Catherine passed away May 22, 2016 at the Glen Oaks Care Center in New London after a well fought, year-long, battle with cancer. Burial will be private at a later date.
Catherine was born June 25, 1951 in Farming, MN to Joseph and Eleanor (Fuchs) Maile. She graduated from Albany High School in 1969. She then married Steven James Hartmann on December 5, 1972 at St. Louis Catholic Church in Paynesville. She was employed at Koronis Parts in Paynesville for the past 28 years.
Catherine is survived by her husband Steven Hartmann of Paynesville, son Robert (Briedget) Hartmann of Grove City and son Corey Hartmann of Litchfield, two grandchildren Courtney and Andrew Hartmann of Grove City, brothers and sisters Victor (Mary) Maile of Avon, William (Doreen) Maile of Avon, Peter (Renee) Maile of Avon, Donna (Howard) Birr of Albany, Joseph (Barb) Maile of Scandia, Josephine (Tony) Mendez of Arizona, Edmund Maile of Brainerd, along with many nieces and nephews.
Catherine is preceded in death by her parents.
