Elenor Reh

July 18, 1932 – November 1, 2016

Memorial services will be held at Noon on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at Daniel Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN for Elenor R. Reh who passed away on November 1, 2016 at Sterling Park Health Care Center in Waite Park.

  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.  The burial will take place on a later date at Fort Snelling in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

 

Elenor was born on July 18, 1932 to the late Bernard and Anna Voigt in Luxemburg, Minnesota.  She married Charles Reh on April 6, 1959.  Over the years Elenor enjoyed serving people in a variety of ways.  She worked at Wide Awake Cleaners in St. Cloud, Lahr’s Chuckwagon, and retired from the St. Cloud Veteran’s Hospital.  Elenor loved to decorate cakes—for anyone and for any celebration.  She enjoyed hearing the stories and creatively celebrating the event through her cakes.

 

She is survived by her children, Tom Reh, of Oregon;  Michelle (Steve) Johnson, Fort Collins, Colorado; Brenda (Mitch) Maile, Sauk Rapids; grandchildren, Jennifer Abrams and Stephanie Reh, Oregon; Travis Maile (Cheryl), St. Cloud; Paige (Gavin) Burt, St. Cloud; Mandi Hoerter, Bennett Graf (Tiffany), St. Cloud; Nancy Reh Lorance (Glen), Bonneau, South Carolina; and seven great grandchildren.

 

Elenor was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles; son, Sam; and siblings Clem, Sylvester, Roman, Alma, Helen, Wendelin, Ervin, William, and Martha.

 

Elenor’s family would like to thank the wonderful people who have cared for their mom during her residence at Brookdale Assisted Living in Sauk Rapids, Sterling Park Health Care Center in Waite Park, and St. Croix Hospice.
