Gregg A. Wiener

August 22, 1954 – February 2, 2016

Memorial services will be held at 12 Noon on Monday, February 8, 2016 at the Daniel Funeral Home Chapel in St. Joseph for Gregg A. Wiener, 61, of St. Joseph. Gregg passed away peacefully with family by his side on Tuesday, February 2nd at Golden Living Center in Delano. Inurnment will be in Calvary Cemetery, St. Cloud.

 

Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home.

Gregg was born on August 22, 1954 in Minneapolis to Rueben and Donna Lee (Neumiller) Wiener. He graduated from Apollo High School. Gregg married Rose Mary Kissner and they were blessed with three daughters. They later divorced.

Gregg enjoyed telling stories and making people laugh. He will be remembered for his fun loving personality and his sense of humor.

He is survived by his daughters, Sara Lee Kissner-Kirt of Sauk Rapids; Katie Rose Kissner of St. Cloud; grandchildren, Taylor, Romeo, Loganne, Bryce, Jaden and Ellie; siblings, Scott (Kathy) Wiener, Laura Kissner, Kris (Dan) Vogel, Jason Wiener, Marshall (Nikki) Neumiller; special friend, Steph Barrett and her daughter, Samantha; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; infant daughter, Rhiannon Rae; siblings, Katherine, Troy and Jeff Wiener; and nephew, Shawn Kissner.

Memorials are preferred.

Hey just wanted to say I’m glad I got to know you.you were as fun as you were funny..awesome to be around made a boring time enjoyable.and I’ll never meet anyone who knows how to power spray a drivewAy quit like you..I learned a lot that weekend..truley one of a kind.till we meet agien r.I.p buddy.you’ll be missed.

First of all, just wanna thank you for my nike name and all the great laughs thru life you gave many of ur friends, and people that didn’t even know you, but quickly got too. You where born on a great feast day, and went home on another great feast day. Missed you the last 20 yrs and divine intervention brought us together ur last few days. Love yah always boudreau. eternal rest grant unto him oh Lord let perpetual light shine upon, my his soul rest in peace.

Gregg, I am very sorry to hear of your passing. I have very fun memories from my childhood with you. I always thought of you through the years and that great smile of yours. I always knew you to be so full of life when I was around. RIP…Goodspeed to your family as they mourn their loss. Much love.

You could make a boring job like sanding wood all day amusing as hell. Your stories were so funny! And then there was your dancing. Great moves for a white guy! LOL The times we had weren’t long enough. I’m proud to say that you were my friend. Rest in peace.

Uncle gregg we fought a long five days to get what we as a family wanted communication from you our love yous our names that came outta that precious mouth for the last time. It makes my heart break soo much that I don’t have you here no more but makes me feel so much better that your not suffering anymore. Man oh man I miss you soo much and love you till the wheels fall off. Say hi to dad uncle cousin and grandma and grandpa and baby cousin.
