Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud, MN for Jeremy J. Haakonson, age 36, of St. Cloud who passed away suddenly on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at his home in St. Cloud. Bishop Barg will officiate.
Family and friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday and after 10:00 a.m. on Saturday at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud.
Jeremy was born on August 18, 1980 in Honolulu, Hawaii to Mark and Linda (Morin) Haakonson. He graduated from Apollo High School in 1998 and then attended St. Cloud Technical College. Jeremy worked as a welder and was most recently employed at Gold ‘N Plump.
He enjoyed traveling, photography, hiking, reading, and bicycling. Jeremy especially loved spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his parents; Mark (Jacklyn) and Linda (Ted Sczublewski) Haakonson; sister and brothers, Kara, Dauryce, Michael John Knowles; extended siblings, Dwayne Taylor Jr., Danyelle Taylor, Chandrea (Taylor) Bradford, Darius Taylor, and Daychan Taylor, Tyler Sczublewski; aunts, uncles, and extended family.
Jeremy was preceded in death by his grandparents; and uncle, Paul Haakonson.
