Judy L. Tripp-Schneider

Mass of Christian Burial celebrating the life of Judy L. Tripp-Schneider, age 59 of St. Cloud will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 19, 2016 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in St. Cloud. Judy passed away on Friday, December 9, 2016 at the St. Cloud Hospital with family at her side after courageously living with diabetes for many years. Reverend Thomas Knoblach will officiate. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery, St. Cloud.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud and after 10:00 a.m. on Monday at the church. Parish prayers will be at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
Judy was born September 20, 1957 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Leonard and Henrietta “Etta” (Weber) Tripp. She was a 1975 graduate of St. Cloud Apollo High School. Judy married Richard Schneider on July 21, 1979 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, they later divorced. She was employed by REM Homes and other foster care homes in the St. Cloud area for several years. Judy volunteered at Catholic Charities and was a member of St. Peter’s Parish.
Judy’s faith was a source of strength for her. Through her many trials, she inspired others and made them feel special with her sense of humor, laughter and caring. She enjoyed traveling, listening to music, reading, writing, drawing, family get-togethers and her cat, Precious. Judy will be remembered as a kind, generous and loving mother, daughter, sister, sister-in-law and aunt. She will be missed by all who loved her as we trust her to the Lord.
Survivors include her son, John; mother, Etta (Larry Wallaker); brothers and sister, Gary (Julia), Linda and Jeffrey all of St. Cloud; nieces and nephews, Shane Rengel, Amber Wiese, McKenzy, Alexa and Shaelee Tripp; grandnephew and nieces, Dominic, Amara and Morgan.
She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Jennifer in 1984; father, Leonard in 1990; and sister, Karin in 1985.

Judy was grateful for all the people who were so kind and helpful to her in recent years.
