Julietta E. Fuchs

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, January 22, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church for Julietta E. Fuchs, age 91, of St. Cloud, who passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at Talahi Care Center. Reverend Thomas Knoblach will officiate. Burial will take place at a later date in St. Michael’s Parish Cemetery, Spring Hill, MN.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday at the Daniel Funeral Home, St. Cloud and after 10:00 a.m. on Friday at the church. Parish prayers are at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.

Julietta was born on November 12, 1924 to John and Helen (Meyer) Spanier. She was married to Arthur Q. Fuchs on May 12, 1947 at St. Margaret’s Catholic Church in Lake Henry.  After their marriage the couple farmed in Spring Hill for 25 years. The family than moved to St. Cloud. She was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church and the Christian Mothers.

She is survived by her children, Stephen Fuchs, Pat (Al) Hommerding, Art Fuchs Jr., Lorraine (Jim) Struzyk, Janet (Jim) Welch, and Ramona (David) Barr; sisters, Rosetta Olmscheid and Carol (Mark) Zaczkowski; brothers, John Spanier and Hubert Spanier; grandchildren, Judy, Brian, Jennifer, Jeff, Kristi, Emily, Jill, Kim, Tony, Stephen, Erin, Sam, Katie and Abagail; great-grandchildren, Jessica, Michael, Mikaela, Hayden, Mason, Elijah, Oliver, Adelyn, Griffin, Marleyna, Jackson,  Annabelle, Jasper, Lilly, Brayden, Kevin, Jayden and Jalah, and great-great-grandchild, Aubree; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Arthur; children, Robert and James Fuchs, and Marlene Cluever; brothers and sisters, Joe Spanier, Marie Olmscheid, Dorothy Olmscheid, Addie Spanier,  Odilia (Motsie) Hagen.
