Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in St. Cloud for Karen S. Voigt, age 56, of Avon, who passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2015. Reverend Thomas Knoblach will officiate. Burial will take place in Assumption Cemetery in St. Cloud.
Family and friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday and after 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday all at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud. Parish prayers will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Monday at the Funeral Home in St. Cloud.
Karen was born on November 13, 1958 in St. Cloud to Henry “Hank” and Betty (Schotl) Roden. She married her high school sweet heart Peter Voigt on December 3, 1977 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in St. Cloud. Karen worked as a Pharmacy Tech. She was a member of the St. Cloud Antique Auto Club.
Karen enjoyed trips to the cabin and car shows. She loved the time spent with her family, especially the grandkids and her cat Ms. Kitty.
She is survived by her husband; children, Keith of St. Cloud, Kristine (Stuart) Koshiol of Randall; grandchildren, Julia, Alexander, George, and Andrew; her parents, Hank and Betty; and extended family.
Karen was preceded in death by her grandparents; and brother, Kevin Roden in 2011.
