Mr Hemmesch was a great math teacher. But a better person he always seamed to know when i needed a confidence boost and was always there to give it to me. He was there for the bigest moments of my life in high school. Calling out my name when i did something good and was just as excited as i was about it. I didnt realize how important he was to my life until now. I can not imagine what his family is going through i am so sorry for your loss. See you in Heaven Kevin.

Mary & Family. I am so sorry for your loss. I met Keven as the “voice” of the Storm when I first arrived as middle school principal at SRR in 2003. Kevin was such a gentle and kind soul. Later as a coach, when my daughter played basketball at SRR, I made it a point before games to see Kevin at the announcer’s table simply because I truly enjoyed visiting with him. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. God Bless!

We are sorry for your loss, words are just words your sorrow is overwhelming , my sister Barb had KEVIN AS HER TEACHER IN Royalton , Our prayers are with you , may he rest in peace

So many great conversations over the years. Kevin was so loved by his students and coworkers. “The voice…” will live on in so many minds. Thoughts and prayers are with you all.

My deepest sympathy to you and your family, Mary. Not sure you remember me, but you taught me the funeral greeter duties at Daniel Funeral Home.
May God grant you strength and comfort during your most difficult days. You are in my prayers

I will always remember Kevin as someone fun to work with, a kind and generous man who always made everyone feel welcome. I will never forget you as the voice of the Storm and the ultimate host at every Sauk Rapids parade. You will be greatly missed by so many!

Kevin was the only teacher that made me understand math. He taught my dad and my two older brothers. He was the nicest person. He will truly be missed by all of his former students. Thoughts and prayers to the family

There are few teachers who you remember after you leave school, and Mr. Hemmesch was truly one of the best. I was struggling with math in my junior year, and even though I had math in his class for my freshman year, he still took the time to help me. Thank you, Mr. Hemmesch, for being so kind and understanding! You will me truly missed by all you’ve taught.
