LaBelle A. Ruehle

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, December 29th, 2017 at St. John Cantius Catholic Church in St. Cloud, for LaBelle Ann Ruehle, age 80, of St. Cloud, who died on Sunday, December 24, 2017 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Reverend Thomas Knoblach will officiate. Burial of the urn will take place in Assumption Cemetery. Family and friend may call after 9:30 a.m. at the church on Friday.

LaBelle was born in St. Cloud to Layton and Louise (Becker) Ruehle. She grew up in St. Cloud and graduated from Cathedral High School. She then attended and graduated from the College of St. Benedict’s in St. Joseph, MN. LaBelle was employed at the St. Cloud VA Medical Center for 37 years, retiring in 1994 as Human Resources Assistant Chief. She also was a sales clerk part-time for Dayton’s Department store for over 20 years.

She enjoyed going to football games, playing cards, dancing and traveling, visiting Europe and Egypt. She was a member of St. John Cantius Catholic Church in St. Cloud.

She is survived by cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Arthur (Lyle) Ruehle.

Memorials are preferred to the Alzheimer’s Association or St. John Cantius Parish.
