Lucille C. (Traut) Schreiner
December 17, 1923 – July 31, 2014
A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sartell for Lucille C. (Traut) Schreiner, age 90, of Sartell who passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at the Country Manor Nursing Home in Sartell. Reverend Robert Harren will officiate. Interment of the urn will take place in the Parish Cemetery.
Family and friends may call after 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday at the Gathering Space at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sartell. Arrangements are with the Daniel Funeral Home in Sartell.
Lucille was born on December 17, 1923 in St. Cloud, Minnesota to Anton and Mary (Then) Traut. She married Edmund Schreiner on June 7, 1945 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sauk Rapids. Lucille was a homemaker the majority of her life and also worked at May Printing for 10 years. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church and Christian Mothers.
She loved gardening, flowers, quilting, baking, wildlife, reading and traveling. Her greatest joy was her family and especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Carol (Dale) Chisholm of Royalton, David (Karen), Kevin (Deb), Cindy (Archie) Kantor and Amy (Paul) Mergen all of Sartell; grandchildren, Jeff (Vanessa) Schreiner, Greg (Amy) Schreiner, Jennifer (Craig) Stevens, Steve (Erin) Chisholm, Mark Chisholm, Joe Sauer, Hemi (Mark) Perlberg, Quint Schreiner, Jessica Mergen; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Bernice Villcheck; brother and sisters-in-law, Robert (Marilyn) Schreiner, Marcella Thyen, Rita Traut; and many nieces and nephews.
Lucille was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edmund; daughter, Dianne Sauer; brothers and sister, Eugene Traut, Bernard Traut and Irene Mehr.
A Special Thank You to the staff at Country Manor for all the care and comfort given to Lucille and her family during her stay.

Lucille was such a kind and loving person.I have many fond memories of when our families would get together and have fun by the river.
