Marian Rose Roering
August 14, 1928 – July 31, 2014
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Waite Park, for Marian Rose Roering, age 85, of Waite Park, who passed away on July 31, 2014 at the St. Cloud Hospital. Reverend Mark Innocenti will officiate. Interment will take place in the parish cemetery.
Family and friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m on Monday and from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday all at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud. The Waite Park American Legion Silver Star Post Auxiliary Unit #428 will pray at 5:00 p.m. and parish prayers will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
Marian was born on August 14, 1928 in Elrosa, Minnesota to Albert and Eleanor (Bierschbach) Kutz. She married Raymond C. Roering on October 26, 1949 at Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Albany. As well as raising her eight children, Marian was very active in the community. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, the Christian Mothers, the St. Clare Mission Group, the V.F.W. Aux #428, the American Legion Auxiliary Unit #428 (Past President), the Eagles Auxiliary #622, NARVE, and a V. A. Volunteer.
Marian enjoyed embroidering and crocheting. She greatly treasured all the time spent with her family and friends.
Marian is survived by her children, Geraldine “Punky” (Ron) Jenderseck, Janice (Allen) Wentland, Cheryl Healy, Sheila (Bill) Nierenhausen, Ronald (Tonette), Lynn(Charles) Koerner, Keith (Lori); daughter -in – law, Debbie; 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; brother, William (Bette) Kutz; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raymond in 1990; son, Kevin in 2004; and sisters, Florence and Sally.
A Special Thank You to Officer Tom Jensen and the Staff in the ICU at the St. Cloud Hospital.
