Marie E. Hart

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at St. Louis Catholic Church in Paynesville for Marie E. Hart, age 89, of Paynesville, who passed away on Friday, January 7, 2011. Reverend Glenn Krystosek will officiate. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Monday and after 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the St. Louis Catholic Church in Paynesville. The Christian Women will pray at 6:00 p.m. on Monday at the church in Paynesville.

Marie was born on December 8, 1921 in Cologne, Minnesota to Michael and Grace (Bruggeman) Roeser. She worked as a laundress for many years in St. Cloud. Marie belonged to the St. Louis Catholic Church and Christian Women. She lived the majority of her life in Central Minnesota.
Marie enjoyed sewing, embroidery, gardening, the outdoors, tending to a few neighborhood cats, and had great pride in taking care of her home. She also loved time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces.

Marie is survived by her children, Allen Duane Hart of Moose Lake, Marie (Jim) Schwarz of New London; grandchildren, Theresa Arnett of Rochester, Laura Schwarz of Blaine, and Michael Schwarz of Rochester; two great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; one infant son, Jimmy; brothers and sisters, Francis, Bernard, Louis, Raymond, James, Gerald, Rosella Knutson, and Marcella Bailey.
