Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at St. John’s Abbey Church in Collegeville for MaryAnn Sauerer, age 86 of St. Joseph, who passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at the Meeker Memorial Hospital in Litchfield. Reverend Gregory Miller, OSB will officiate. Burial will take place in the St. John the Baptist Parish Cemetery.
Family and friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday (TODAY) at St. John the Baptist Parish Center in Collegeville and one hour prior to services on Saturday at the Abbey Church.
MaryAnn was born on April 14, 1932 in St. Joseph to John and Margaret (Kaiser) Reischl. She married Roman Sauerer on June 7, 1951. MaryAnn was a homemaker all of her life. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Collegeville. 
MaryAnn was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed bingo, collecting dolls, and word search puzzles.
MaryAnn is survived by her children, Barb of St. Joseph, Arnie (Rhonda) of St. Joseph, John of St. Joseph, and Rita (Tom) Kotschevar of Albany; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Katie Reinert and Louise (Leander) Bieniek.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Roman in 1991; brothers, Leo and Ray; and son-in-law, Tom Achman.
A Special Thank You to the Staff of the Meeker Memorial Hospital for their compassion and care given to Mom.
