Dear Mrs. D – You have touched so many lives, what an awesome teacher you were! My memories of you are happy ones – your great smile, wit, and the immediate connection with your students. Many people are thinking about you and lifting you up in prayer. I am very grateful you were present at our 50th class reunion this past September. What a treat! To the family of Mrs. D, please accept my condolences.

I had the pleasure of knowing Mrs.Ditlevson through a number of ways. She was the mother of my friend Mary and classmate Mark. She was active in Job’s Daughters, which I was a member, and she taught in Upsala at the time I did some long-term substitute teaching there. I carpooled with her during that time and learned a lot about teaching while listening to her and Mrs. Knox compare their days on the ride to and from St..Cloud. She was caring and giving to everyone, a second Mom to many of us. She will be missed, but her legacy lives on through her family and all the students she taught through all those years. AG

She was just the best teacher ever. I just loved her and so did our whole class. She has and will always hold a special place in my heart. God bless you all. My prayers are with you all.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of Mrs. D at this sad time. I have fond memories of her English classes and will always remember her love of musicals and Shakespeare that she so enthusiastically shared with her students. My next visit to the Guthrie Theater will be in celebration of her life!

Oh how sad to lose my friend, Pat.
We had so many fun, laughable times with Bethel #11. I know God
will love having her in heaven.
Thinking of all of the family with my
sympathy and love. Hugs to all, Faye

We were so sorry to hear of Mrs. D’s death. She was a wonderful teacher, mentor and friend. So glad that she was able to make it to our 50th class reunions. Rest in peace Mrs. D.
