Pauline B. (Schotl) Quirk

February 18, 1941 – March 31, 2014

Funeral Services will be at 10:30 AM on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at St. John Cantius Catholic Church in St. Cloud, MN for Pauline Barbara (Schotl) Quirk age 73. Mrs. Quirk was a resident of Good Shepherd Lutheran Home in Sauk Rapids and was formerly a long time resident of St. Cloud. She died at the St. Cloud Hospital on Monday, March 31, 2014. The Reverend Tony Kroll will be the celebrant. Inurnment will be at a later date.

 

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday evening and from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM on Saturday morning at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud. Parish Prayers will be at 5:00 PM on Friday evening at the funeral home.

Pauline was born on February 18, 1941 at St. Cloud, MN the daughter of Matt and Alvina (Henz) Schotl. She attended Cathedral High School and later attended Tech High School where she graduated. Over the years, Pauline worked at Persian Supper Club, Becky’s Café in South Minneapolis, was the day care provider at the Granite Bowl, and a homemaker raising her four children. After several hospital stays, Pauline became a resident of Good Shepherd Nursing Home since July 11, 2001.

She married Kenneth E. Macho in 1968 and after that marriage ended she later married Bruce R. Quirk in 1976.

Pauline loved spending time with her grandchildren, doing crafty things with them and going shopping at the mall. She was a longtime member of St. John Cantius Catholic Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister Jeanette Schotl, and two brothers, Harold and Douglas Schotl.

She is survived by her four children, Mark Schotl of Little Falls, MN, Kenneth (Tabatha) Macho of Rice, MN, Billy (Amanda) Quirk of Sauk Rapids, MN, Kristina (Dennis) Duscher of Rice, MN, long time daughter-in-law Jenny Lee Neumann of St. Cloud, MN, 13 grandchildren, Katelyn, Jasmine, Jason, Kenneth Jr., Mercadies, Brittany, Savannah, Blake, Kayla, Lindsay, Ashley, Samantha, and Bret, and five great grandchildren, Haley, Logan, Sahara, Kianna, and Deon Jr., many nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
