So sorry to hear of the passing of Rick (as we knew him in our younger years). Rick was such a good friend who was in our wedding party in 1974. Our thoughts & prayers are with you.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. on Monday, July 18, 2016 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in St. Cloud for Richard D. “Dick” Rahm, age 64, of Rice. Dick passed away peacefully July 13, 2016, at the St. Cloud Hospital. Reverend Thomas Knoblach will officiate. Relatives and friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Sunday at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud. Parish Prayers will be at 5 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Monday.
Dick was born November 2, 1951 in St. Cloud to Leo and Val (Wirtzfeld) Rahm. He will be remembered as a “people person”, which served him well as a salesman. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Some of his happiest moments happened on a lake or slough. He loved spending time with his family and friends and his faith was important to him.
Dick is survived by his daughter Kayla (Ben) Binczik of Otsego, his former wife Kristin (Pearson) and his six siblings: Kate (Duane) Plemel, Jan (Tom) Mertz, Pat (Mike) Schneider, Gary (Peggy) Rahm, Mary Jo (Steve) Foley, Lori (Mark) Hottman as well as many nieces and nephews.
Preceding Dick in death were his parents.
A special acknowledgement goes to Ben’s parents Steve and Julie Binczik for welcoming Dick into their family.
Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers to the Poor Clare Monastery.

So sorry to hear this sad news. I am a first cousin to Dick. My mom was Leo Rahm’s sister, Rosemary. I have alot of good memories of when we cousins would get together. My brothers hunted with him. He was a wonderful man. I pray your good memories will help carry you through this sad time.
My condolences to you Kayla. Your dad was a great guy. The times I spent with him Hunting in South Dakota was the best.
Dick was a good friend in high school and into the college years. I regret that I didn’t keep in touch after I moved away. He was a good man! My condolences to the family.
