Rita R. Egger

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 5, 2015 at the Country Manor Chapel in Sartell for Rita R. Egger age, 88, of Sartell and formerly of Minneapolis who passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2015 at Country Manor Campus in Sartell. Pastor Adam Sohre will officiate. Burial will take place in Hillside Cemetery in Minneapolis.

Family and friends may call after 9:30 a.m. on Thursday at the Country Manor Chapel in Sartell. Arrangements are with the Daniel Funeral Home in Sartell.

Rita was born on July 25, 1927, in Minneapolis Minnesota to John and Rose (Urbanski) Rhode. She graduated from Foley High School. Rita married Lawrence E. Egger on June 10, 1950 in Minneapolis. She worked as an Assistant Auditor for IDS retiring on February 1, 1984.

She enjoyed quilting, knitting, reading, and doll collecting. Rita much loved her pet cats over her life time. She especially treasured all the time spent with family and friends.

Rita is survived by her sisters-in-law. Arlene Rhode of Sartell and Joan Rhode of St. Cloud; nephews and nieces, Jack Rhode of Farwell, Deb (Jim) Hartman of St. Cloud, Becky (Gary) Frericks of St. Joseph, Robin (Dave) Theis of St. Cloud; great–nephews and nieces, John, Matt (Ashley), Laura (Duane), Emily, Jacquie (Jeb), Ashley (Andy), Amanda, Dan, Joe, Steve, Michael, and Thomas; and three great-great-nephew and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lawrence; and brothers, Roger and Elmer Rhode.
