Rose Marie Radunz

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 28, 2015 at First United Methodist Church in Sartell for Rose Marie Radunz, age 83 of St. Cloud who passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2015 at the St. Cloud Hospital. Reverend Leah Rosso and Reverend Kathy King will officiate. Burial will take place at Lake Ripley Cemetery in Litchfield.
Family and friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the Daniel Funeral Home, St. Cloud and after 10:00 a.m. on Thursday at the church.
Rose was born on August 21, 1931 in Greenleaf Township, Meeker County, Minnesota to Ralph and Minnie Anderson. She grew up in Greanleaf Township, attended rural schools and graduated from Litchfield High School. She married Ervin C. Radunz on August 28, 1949 in Litchfield. The couple and their family owned and operated Erv’s Fuel Stop on Highway 10 in St. Cloud until 1978; the family also opened a second truck stop in Hasty on Interstate 94. Rose and Erv retired and moved to Baxter in 1992. She has been a resident of St. Benedict’s Senior Community since 2010. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Rose enjoyed music, gardening and cooking; she especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
Rose is survived by her children, Sheila (John) Bichler of Pearl Lake, Steve (Mary), Tim (Mary) both of Sartell, Mike (Katy) of Wahkon and Mark (Tamara) of Becker; 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; one great great grandson; brother, Russell (Karen) Anderson of Willmar; and sister-in-law, June Anderson of Litchfield.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Erv on October 31, 2008; son, Jeffrey on August 10, 2010; and brother, Andrew “A.G.” Anderson.
Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
