Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 13, 2017 at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud for Thomas W. “Tom” Zipp, age 57, of Albany who passed away suddenly, on Tuesday, March 7, 2017. Sr. Colleen Haggerty,OSB will officiate.
Family and friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday and after 9:30 a.m. on Monday at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud.
Tom was born on February 7, 1960 in St. Cloud to Dennis Zipp and Mary Gardner. He graduated from Sartell High School in 1978. Tom married Annette Holladay on September 22, 1984 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sauk Rapids. He worked as an Auto Mechanic for many years at Klein Oldsmobile and most recently for the Sisters of St. Benedict in St. Joseph.
He loved spending time with his family. Tom also enjoyed snowmobiling, four wheeling, and the lake cabin.
Tom is survived by his wife; sons, Derrick of St. Cloud, Jacob (Fiancée, Adrianna) of Sartell; granddaughters, Arianna and Hanna; father, Dennis of St. Cloud; siblings, James (Lori Ring) of Rice, Theresa (Randal) McNeal of Rice, Dale (Lori) of Sauk Rapids and Joseph of St. Cloud; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary.

Sorry for your loss
To Tom’s family. It saddens me to hear of Tom’s passing. Still so terribly young. Tom was always a good guy through grade school and high school. Always a fun loving guy who was so easy to talk to. He’d help anyone out when he
could. I have very fond memories of Tom through are school years. He will never be forgotten. RIP Tom, until we meet again.

I will miss you so much. I always enjoyed your sense of humor and happiness when you were with people. You always were so happy to hear from friends and family. Even though I no longer needed your help with computers I treasure the memories of the time we shared. Say “hi” to you mother for me. Love you both very much.
