Valeria R. Gohman

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church in St. Augusta for Valeria R. Gohman, age 87, of St. Augusta who passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2014 at the St. Cloud Hospital. Reverend Robert Rolfes will officiate. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday and after 10:00 a.m. on Thursday all at the St. Mary Help of Christian Parish Center in St. Augusta. Parish prayers will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the parish center.

Valeria was born on January 5, 1927 in St. Cloud to Aloys and Catherine (Liesch) Koenig. She married Norbert Gohman on June 29, 1948 at St. Mary’s Help of Christians Catholic Church in St. Augusta. Valeria was a homemaker all of her life.

She enjoyed gardening and sewing.

Valeria is survived by her sons; Lloyd, and LeRoy both of St. Augusta; and one sister, Lorraine (Adrain) Klein of Watkins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Norbert in 1999; and brothers and sister, Jerome, Mabel Kron, Delmar, and Leonard.
