January 4, 1974 – August 19, 2016
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Waite Park for William R. Aleshire, age 42 of Waite Park who passed away on Friday, August 19, 2016 at the St. Cloud Hospital. Reverend David Grundman will officiate. Private interment will take place at a later date at the parish cemetery.
Family and friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday and after 9:00 a.m. on Thursday at the Daniel Funeral Home, St. Cloud. Parish prayers will be 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home in St. Cloud.
Bill was born January 4, 1974 in St. Cloud, Minnesota to George and Eileen (Harren) Aleshire. He was a 1993 graduate of St. Cloud Apollo High School and later studied Custodial-Maintenance-Boilers and graduated from the Brainerd Technical College. Bill was employed by the St. Cloud Municipal Athletic Complex since 1989. He was a member of St. Joseph’s Parish.
Bill volunteered at the St. Cloud Hospital, Tri-County Humane Society; he will be remembered as “Bill the Music Man Aleshire”.
Bill is survived by his brothers, James (Shannon) of Waite Park and Chris (Leah) of St. Cloud; niece and nephews, Tanner, Breanna, Riley, Chase and Logan.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

Jim, Chris, and families… So surprised to read of Bill’s passing… John and I had just seen him in Mass the last couple of Sundays. He shook John’s hand and greeted John upon leaving and had a smile for both of us. He always had a hello… I remember him reading at Mass years ago and the good job he did. My condolences to all. May he be at peace.
