A mother is someone who dreams great dreams for you, but then she lets you chase the dreams you have for yourself and loves you just the same!! I wish I could hug her right now and tell her how much I love her..

I wish I would have helped her with more chores around the house when I was growing up. I wish I would have known the exhaustion that a mother feels at the end of each day. She never stopped loving me and she never ever left me even though at times she probably felt like it!!

No matter how old we are, losing a mother is one of the deepest sorrows a heart can know, but her goodness, her caring and her wisdom live on...like a legacy of love that will always be with me. Oh how I miss her!!

Aunt Mabel was like another mom to me. She and my mom looked so much alike--both beautiful, soft, gentle and fun-loving women whose laughter made the world a brighter and happier place. I know Aunt Mabel is having a great reunion in Heaven with loved ones and her laughter can be heard in the sound of the songbirds or the tinkling of chimes. Shine on, Auntie Mabel, shine on. Your love is never ending and I will always feel your hugs and hear your "I love you, honey." I miss you but I know you are healthy and whole, living in a better place. I love you always.

Aunt Mabel brought so much love and joy to those around her. Spending time with her was like drinking a glass of champagne. Her bubbly personality and great sense of humor made every day special. She showed me that loving people unconditionally was the only way to be. Thank you for loving me the way you did, Aunt Mabel, and bless your caring heart. Your grateful niece, Leigh

She looks well to the ways of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: Proverbs 31:27-28 How I loved this woman.

Thank you all so much for posting this tribute on here. It is very comforting for those of us who couldn't be there. Aunt Mabel, you will be missed by all of us whose lives you touched. You are a very special lady with such a huge heart. You've been so many things to so many people, and were always there with a big, warm hug. Give a special one to momma for me. I love you.

Where do I begin..Although there were some missing years in our relationship, I treasure the last few that you and I were able to re-establish a bond again. I will never forget all the chats we had about early memories of our family, things I never knew about in the past, and most of all talking about my father, your son, Donny. You were the conduit to him for me. I always felt inside that you had a special connection to him and could pass along just how much I miss him. My conduit is gone...but I am happy for youin the fact that you are in a wonderful place. Thank you for everything you did for me in your later years. Your words will be with me forever. I love you Grandma. "There is no pain so great as the memory of joy in present grief."

I had forgoten what a Beautiful woman your Mom was. Its been a while since I have seen Mabel. Not only her beauty ,but inside as well. We had a lots of laughs the three of us when she would visit Forida to see you, Charlie. Remember the time we were at the beach and it started lightning and she put the bag over her head and ran. We laughted so hard we cried!! And from then on she became the Bag Lady. I know you and your family will miss her so much. But know she will ALWAYS be with each one of you. You will carry her in your hearts. love, Debbie

Mrs. Spengler you have left me with great memories. Always there with that caring smile during my crazy teenage years. I wish I could hug you one more time. You are indeed a "Lady of Grace". I take your quality of life as lessons to live by and pass on. You and Mr. Spengler created such a fun and loving atmosphere that we never wanted to leave-and sometimes we did not leave. Your wonderful family is blessed to have you watch over them(as you always have) I know how proud you are of them. Give a hug to Mr. Spengler from his "Little Buddy". My Heart, Love and Prayers go out to your loving family. Thank God For Memories!!! Love Lisa

Mabel... my beautiful Mabel. Wonderful Mother, Aunt, Sister, Grandmother, friend. You have been such an inspiration to me throughout my life. From the time I was a young girl I have always looked up to you in your beauty, your strength, your faith and they way you gave of yourself but never took credit for any of it. I will never forget all the wonderful cards you sent with words of encouragment after the passing of my mother, husband and brother. Always arriving in the mailbox at the most perfect time. You have always been an angel to me, and now you truly are. I bet your the prettiest one too!! Please give all my loved ones in heaven a big kiss and tell them I love them. Good bye for now my lovely.

I never saw Mom read a PMA (Positive Mental Attitude) book, and yet she was an incredibly positive person. I don't recall seeing any "How to be a Servant" books on her shelf, and yet she lived to serve others. As far as I know she never attended any "Principles of Giving" seminars, but she had the most generous of hearts. Her life was a book; teaching us how to overcome adversity, serve others, and give generously. I believe her works will be published in heaven and will result in great rewards.

Oh mamma - words can't describe how broken my heart is that you are no longer here. Not to be able to talk to you or kiss your soft cheeks or see your beautiful face just tears me apart. I feel like I'm in a dream and can't wake up. It was the most important/special time for me to be there at both yours and dads last moment. I thank God that I moved back home to be close to you. I love you so much and will miss you everyday mamma!!! I will see you again someday....
