Frank G. O'Keefe

A Memorial Mass will be 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at the V.A. Medical Center Chapel in St. Cloud for Frank G. O’Keefe, age 91, of Sauk Rapids, who died Saturday, August 25, 2007 at the V.A. Medical Center in St. Cloud. Reverend Al Stangl will officiate. Burial will take place in Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis with full military honors. Friends may call after 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday at the V.A. Chapel. Arrangements were made by the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud.

Frank was born May 15, 1916 in Racine, WI to Thomas L. and Hulda (Meyer) O’Keefe. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was employed by Ickler Machine for 10 years, Franklin Manufacturing for 10 years and DeZurik as a printer until 1975. He was a member of 40 & 8 and Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Frank is survived by his sister Rosemary Ebnet of Sauk Rapids, nephews John (Sue) Ebnet of St. Cloud, Michael T. (Sally) Ebnet of Edina and David Ebnet of Rockville, James P. (Marion) O’Keefe of Sauk Rapids and many other nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death are his parents, sister Lilas Matheny and brothers Louis, Thomas and James O’Keefe.

Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers to the Poor Clare Monastery.
