Jamie J. Koerner (Murphy)

February 13, 1965 – January 18, 2023

A Celebration of Life will be from 2:00-6:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 11th at the Royalton Legion in Royalton, for Jamie Koerner, lifelong resident of the Saint Cloud area. Jamie passed away on Wednesday the 18th of January at the Saint Cloud Hospital with her children by her side.

Jamie was born on February 13th, 1965 in Saint Cloud to Albert and GlenDoris (Hoffman) Koerner. Jamie grew up with nine siblings in a house full of love and laughter. She went on to marry and raise three children. Jamie’s focus in life was to protect and provide for her children and show them a beautiful meaning of life. In her later years she became a grandmother to four granddaughters. Her grandchildren truly were the twinkle in her eye.

Jamie flourished by any type of beach. She enjoyed the sunshine and spending time outdoors. Jamie treasured time where she could sit sunrise to sunset at the beach, with loved ones nearby, music playing, and the water at her toes.

Jamie is survived by her daughter Katy Murphy-Stangler (Daryl), son Tyler Murphy (Lousie), daughter Kally Genereux (Adam); grand-daughters Joslynn Guimont-Genereux, Olivia Genereux, Rowan Murphy, and Raelyn Murphy; brother Chuck Koerner (Lynn), sisters Pat Koerner, Cindy Koerner, Tammy Koerner-Insley (Don), Amy Henderson (Lyle), Jyl Anderson (Pete); brother-in-law Craig Jennings, many nieces and nephews; and lastly her two lifelong best-friends Joan Donovan (Brian), and Becky Harren (Jim).
Jamie was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Kim Jennings, Karen Koerner, Kelly May, and dear friend Donna Donovan.
A Special Thank You to Serenity on 7th, the Medical and In-Patient Rehabilitation teams at the Saint Cloud Hospital for providing exceptional care and support throughout Mom’s journey.

From the day I met her in 1st grade Jamie has always been a beautiful warm soul. So sad to hear of her passing. Prayers for her family.

I’m so sorry to hear about Jamie.. loved seeing her posts on Facebook with her girls and granddaughters, you could feel the love. We talked so many times about planning a neighborhood get together with all the old friends.. so sad we never made it happen.. you just never know what life will deal us.. thanks Jamie for the many childhood memories and I send love and hugs to all of you during this sad time.💔
