Debra L. Koltes
December 25, 1955 – September 2, 2026

Debra “Deb” Lynn Koltes of St. Augusta, MN passed away on September 2, 2026, at the age of 70, surrounded by all her loved ones. Deb was born on December 25th, 1955, to Roger and Patricia Weihrauch in St. Cloud, MN where she was the first of three daughters. Deb spent her working years in the insurance industry and enjoyed what she did.
Deb had a true servant’s heart. She freely gave her time and energy to anyone who needed a helping hand. She donated dozens of homemade blankets to the Salvation Army and Anna Maries Alliance, and prepared countless meals for families in need. She never seemed to hesitate when someone needed help. Giving to others was simply who she was. Deb was a proud member of the Luxemburg Lions Club serving alongside her husband Keith, where she believed in the importance of serving her community, and was always willing to lend her time and talents to make a difference in the lives of others.
Deb found joy in many things- going fishing, camping, sewing projects, crafting, going out to eat and shopping-but it was her family that meant the most to her, especially her grandchildren. She treasured the time spent together and all the memories made with the people she loved.
Giving so much of herself to others without expecting anything in return leaves behind a legacy of faith, compassion, and service that will continue through the lives of the people she touched. She was a lifelong member of Riverside Evangelical Church, where she sang in the choir for many years, played piano, served on several committees, and faithfully serving as an elder and deacon for many years. Her faith was not something she believed- it was something she lived every day through her kindness, generosity, and willingness to serve others.
Deb will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the blessing of knowing her. Though she is no longer with us, the example she set will live in our hearts forever.
Deb was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Friend. She is survived by her Husband Keith Koltes of St. Augusta; her Son Michael Benjamin (Sarah) and her grandchildren Quinn and Livvy of Rochester, MN being the light of her life; her sisters Janet (Chuck) DeZurik of Richmond; and Gloria (Dale) Derichs of St. Joseph MN; and many nephews and nieces.
Funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 11, 2026, at the Riverside Evangelical Church in Sartell. Reverand Isaac Gould will officiate. Visitation will be held at 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Burial of the urn will take place at St. Wendelin’s Parish Cemetery in Luxemburg.
