Funeral services will be on Tuesday, August 7, 2007 at 7:30 p.m. at the Daniel Funeral Home Chapel in St. Cloud for Jean M. Loehrer, age 80 of St. Cloud who passed away on Sunday, August 5, 2007 at the St. Cloud Hospital surrounded by her family. Reverend Alfred Stangl will officiate.
Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud.
Jean was born on December 15, 1926 in Leicester, England to Charles and Hilda (Burton) Metcalf. She married the love of her life Robert T. Loehrer on June 4, 1948 in Milbank, South Dakota. She lived in St. Cloud all of her married life. Jean’s biggest joy in life was her family and friends. She enjoyed her flowers and angel collection.
Survivors include her children, Jacqueline (Dwayne) Winterberg of Sheboygan, Wisconsin, Judith (Wayne) Benner of Waite Park, Robert (Roxie) of Hutchinson, Tom (Julie) of St. Cloud, Dan (Sarah) of Melrose, Lucinda (Bob) Larson of Bowlus and Charlie (Sally) of Rice; 39 grandchildren; 53 great grandchildren; sister-in-law Dorothy (Vic) Dietman of St. Cloud and brother-in-law, Eugene Loehrer of Sartell.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Robert on February 17, 1991; son, James; granddaughter, Danyell; great grandsons, Joshua and Noah; daughter-in-law, Joyce Eich and sister-in-law, Rosemary Binczik.
