Mass of Christian Burial celebrating the life of Kathleen L. “Kathy” Anderson, 86, of Sartell will be at 12 Noon on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at St. Augustine’s Catholic Church in St. Cloud. Kathy passed away on Friday, March 22, 2013 at the St. Cloud Hospital with her loving family at her side. Reverend Anthony Oelrich will officiate. Entombment will be in Assumption Cemetery Mausoleum, St. Cloud.
Family and friends may call between 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Monday at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud and after 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the church. Parish prayers will be held at 4:00 p.m. and the Christian Women will pray at 4:30 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
Kathy was born on August 11, 1926 in Mankato, Minnesota to John and Josephine (Mayer) Krier. In February 1946, Kathy married James R. Anderson at the Navy Chapel at Camp Elliot, San Diego. She lived most of her life in the Mankato and St. Cloud/Sartell areas, raising six children. Kathy was a member of St. Augustine’s Parish and Christian Women and the St. Cloud Eastside VFW #4847 Auxiliary.
Kathy enjoyed the Red Hat Ladies, swimming at the YMCA, crafting and visiting with friends. Above all, she treasured time with her family.
She is survived by her children, Mary Campbell (Bruce) of St. Cloud, Janie Billing (Bob) of Hartland, Michigan, Nancy Anderson of Sartell, Vickie Erickson (Darwin) of St. Joseph, Julie Peterson (Dan) of Saginaw, James R. Jr. (Judy) of St. Cloud; 14 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren; siblings, Dorothy Finnegan of Mankato, Phyllis Hiniker of North Mankato, Bill Krier (Ruthi) of Cuero, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jim on August 22, 2009; great <a href="http://www.saint-gilles35.fr/includes/_gestionaphehtml.asp">montre pas cher</a> granddaughter, Baby Ella Kathleen Paulsen; and siblings, Jeanne Leverson and Jack Krier.
Kathy’s family would like to thank Drs. Richard Backes, Khadir Kakal and the staffs of ETC, CCU and 5 North for their professional and compassionate care.
