Lillian S. Klawitter

Funeral services will be on Thursday, February 22, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in St. Cloud for Lillian S. Klawitter age 97 of St. Cloud who died Sunday, February 18, 2007 at her home. Reverend Dee Pederson will officiate. Burial will be in Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis.

Friends may call one hour prior to the services at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in St. Cloud on Thursday. Arrangements were by the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud.

Lillian was born on December 1, 1909 in Beloit, Iowa to Ludvik and Anna (Halverson) Stegelvik. She married Lloyd D. Klawitter on July 24, 1944 in Fall River, Massachusetts. She lived in Minneapolis where she was employed by Powers Department Store for 22 years. She moved to St. Cloud in 1973. Lillian enjoyed watercolor painting and golf. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church.

Lillian is survived by her grandsons, Ronald Losby of London, England and Colin Stewart of Edmond, Oklahoma; two great grandchildren, Austin and Nicole Stewart.

She was preceded in death by her husband on October 16, 1994; son, Donald A. Losby in 1973; twin sister, Alyce and brothers, Lesley, Harold and Ron.
