I am so sorry for your loss,my prayers and thoughts are with Tracey and the Voigt family at this very difficult time. Also being in the bus business I have had the pleasure to get to know Butch and Troy for many years. Troy was always willing to help you if you had a bus problem.
Always enjoyed our conversations, Troy was one of a kind and a great person, he will definitely be missed!

With out a doubt Troy is the best boss ever. You will be missed and I will do better in life knowing you.

I’ve only worked for the company a few years. Troy seemed like a really nice guy. Wish I could have known him a little better.

Troy’s life was far too short, he made a big impact on so many people. He will be missed. Thoughts and prayers to the entire Voigts family.

Troy was one of the Best. He always was honest and a great man to be around. He will be sorely missed.

Sending My Condolences to the Voigts family. As I had the pleasure to work with the Voigts Family for 7 years plus.

Im so sorry for your loss and am praying for comfort for the entire family.

I was lucky enough to be able to spend many hours working/travelling with Troy. I always admired how hard he worked to make the experience at Voigts to be amazing for not only the guests, but for the staff as well. We spent many hours talking about family and life, and I wanted to let you know that he often spoke about how proud of his children and grandkids he was and how much he loved them. Prayers to family and friends.

Troy and I spent many of hours in Spader meeting and social events. We also spent many hours at IMG events meetings/social. When we were at IMG or Spader event in June, Tray and I have same Bday and we often celebrated with a glass of Sprit. Troy and his family have warm hearts, have provided their business as if it was our business. This saddens so much

To the Voigt family – Troy was truly a wonderful person. Both professional and personally, he was the most genuine and humbly honest individual. Thoughts and prayers to all of the Voigt family at this very sad time.

Tracey I am sorry to hear of Troy’s passing. My sympathy to you. He was a good man He gave me my firsy job,

Troy, Please RIP my friend. May god bless your family and give them the strength to get through this.

So Sorry for your loss Tracey! our prayers and thoughts are with you and family.

Troy, my respect and appreciation for you goes above and beyond any I have ever had for an employer. You were one of a kind! My heart goes out to the Voigts at the deepest level. May the Lord send down the Angels to embrace all with loving warmth, peace and comfort now and always 💚

I had known Troy for about 8 years and every time we got together it was like being with family. He was always positive and brightened up the room. Troy will be missed dearly by the Streif Family all of us at Vandalia Bus Lines.

Troy you were such a great leader and boss man! Such a tragic loss. Many conversations through the years with you. Many about our dogs. The whole Voigt family are in my thoughts and prayers. I wish you all peace. May God be with you all.
Fly high and rest well my friend.

Troy was a gracious, polite and energetic member in our Spader group and IMG. I learned much from his experience and wisdom. Always kind, patient and helpful. Our prayers are with Tracey and family.

Around 7/15/2011, I had the pleasure of interviewing at Voigt Bus Companies. I learned that day that blue jeans/jean shorts were not an approved uniform for a school bus driver. For some reason or another, he still gave me the nod. Some of my favorite adult life moments came when some how or another, I did something to catch his eye. He always went out of his way to not only compliment a good deed, but explain why you did good. That really meant something to me. Still does. I will never forget our talks. And I now wear none blue denim, or any color khaki’s at work exclusively.

I have had the pleasure of knowing Troy for many years through the Motorcoach industry. He was a very good honest man. My heart goes out to the Voight family and their employees. He will be greatly missed buy us all. 🙁

I have shared many a conversation and/or email about the bus business with Troy over the years. Troy was a straight shooter. I always appreciated that about him. You knew where he stood. He was filled with integrity and wasn’t afraid to take on a challenge. My condolences to his entire family.

You were a great friend, industry leader, and a person everyone respected and looked up to. We will all miss you Troy.

I had the pleasure of working with Troy for many years before my retirement. He was a good person and will be sorely missed. May you rest in the arms of the savior.

I had the pleasure & honor of serving on the MCBOA Board of Directors with Troy and succeeded him as President of the organization. Troy was extremely well respected and his opinion & advice was well valued.
We will miss Troy as an industry leader and as a friend & confidant. May he continue to look down upon us from the Pearly Gates and help guide us through this crazy business. May you Rest in Peace my Friend.

Troy help many threw out his life. When I worked for him I would see him take drivers under his wing and keep them busy so they could make a living knowing understand the school bus & motor coach business . He understood you needed to work hard but you would be rewarded in the end, just like Jesus tells us. Troy
now has the ultimate reward, and is resting with the Lord

My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Voigt family. Growing up in St. Cloud has provided me with many opportunities to interact with the Voigt organization. Troy worked hard to promote his organization, my prayers are with his family.

Our heartfelt sympathy to the Voight Family at this time. Troy was a very family oriented man. He was so proud of his children and how they had stepped into his shoes to run the business. He was very professional in every aspect of his business. RIP, Troy. You fought a hard battle and now your rewards are with your savior.

What a great team leader. Always concerned about his team members, rather it was business or personal. TROY WILL BE MISSED BY MANY. Rest in peace Troy

The IMG family extend their sympathy to Troy’s family and to the staff at Voigt’s. Troy was a great friend to many in IMG and will also be remembered for his willingness to assist and passion for the business. Just a really good guy who will be sorely missed. We keep Troy in our hearts and prayers.

I will miss Troy very much. He always took the time to visit with me when in Fridley. I admire his leadership. He has left us much too early.

I had the privilege of getting to know Troy through IMG and 20 group over the last several years. Something about how he led and talked about his organization always intrigued me, and then I realized…he was a living example of working to live, not living to work. He loved talking about his business, but not nearly as much as he loved talking about his family. He will be sincerely missed.

Troy was a great leader who led by example, without knowing him yet I knew that he was an honest man and that his company was the one I needed to teansport the children of my Head Start.
Rest in peace Troy!

Know that our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Voigt family. An industry leader and colleague, you will be missed.

I got to know Troy through IMG and various other Motorcoach groups. He and his family were wonderful people willing to share in their knowledge and help out at any time. Although we shared a similar passion for our businesses his interest in antique buses was something I admired. He will be missed, and my prayers are with Tracey and the rest of the family!

Great Picture. That is how I will remember Troy as always having a smile on his face. Troy was an exceptional person who always looked for the best in people. I will always remember our great talks we had about the River Bats and the Rox. I interviewed with Troy and he had me drive charter for him on the same day. Troy was great to work for as he always had your back on many different situations that would come up during your charter trips. I loved working at Voigt’s because of the atmosphere that was created by his leadership. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family at Voigt’s and I will dearly miss his leadership that he showed me.

I never had the privilege of meeting Troy, but I get a real sense of the person he was and the values he held from being an employee of his company. I know he will be missed by everyone that knew him. My sympathy and that of my wife Barb go out to the Voigt family.
Jim and Barb Kelley

Troy always had a greeting any time of day, and greeted everyone by their first name. Greatest boss I ever had. He will be missed.

I’ve always viewed Troy as a good boss. Relatively quiet, I’ve never heard him shout at anyone. That didn’t mean he didn’t have a sense of humor. I liked and respected him. He will be sorely missed. I’m sorry that I couldn’t know him better
