What a lovely lady. She was very proud of her family and totally devoted to Floyd. She was a good writer too, penning a beautiful poem about Floyd when he retired. I have a copy if the family doesn’t. I have fond memories of the times our “Patrol family” gathered at picnics and holidays and other special events. Bernice and Floyd were always welcoming, even to a newbie, wet- nosed trooper like me. Very good people, My sincere condolences to the family. May God bless you all and walk closely with you during this time of grief and loss. My, and Linda’s love to you all.

Bernice was a beautiful person. I will never forget our many visits when I would deliver her lunch. She had so many stories and she loved her family and was so proud of all of you. Rest in peace, Bernice.
