Delores Frances (Fussy) Dudek

From her home, Delores went to heaven 11.11.21. Delores was the youngest of 16 children. She was born on the farm in Morril, Minnesota to Frank and Gertrude (Schyma) Fussy on May 30, 1937.  

From an early age and for the duration of her life, Delores’ greatest gift was her passionate ability to care for others. With grace and warmness, Delores was always a gentle caregiver for family, friends and neighbors. From new babies and grandchildren to teenagers or struggling adults, her physical loving touch brought comfort and healing. 

She also gave of her time and talent unselfishly with her endless homemade meals and baked goods (never from a box!) as well as handmade beautiful clothing, drapes and countless babysitting hours. She enjoyed volunteering at the church funerals and church garage sales.  

Delores married Aloise Daniel Dudek on May 14, 1956 at St. Joseph church in Morril, Minnesota. They lived in St. Cloud, where she was a mother and homemaker to three children. Al and Delores were married for 65 years. They enjoyed each other’s company and sharing time together at their home with visitors and family at their table.  

Delores is survived by her husband Al, children… Lynda (Don) Eisenschenk of Minnetonka, Lori (Tim) Torborg of St. Cloud, and Brian (Tammy) Dudek of Foley. Grandchildren Scott (Alisha) Eisenschenk, Sarra (Shaino) Johnson, Kelsey (Nate) Sauer, Michael Dudek, LeeJoe Torborg, and Maria (Derek) Berdan. Great grandchildren Jada, Jude and Max Johnson; Jack, Stella and Georgi Sauer; Duke, Jolee and baby (due any day) Berdan. Also survived by her siblings Richard (Beverly) Fussy, Mary Spiczka, Lucille Fussy, Eilene Fussy and Duane Dudek.  

Proceeding Delores in death are her parents Frank and Gertrude (Schyma) Fussy, her siblings Clara (Al) LaBelle, Irene Fussy, Gertie (Johnny) Leason, Joe (Doreen) Fussy, Robert (Marie) Fussy, Art (Bernice) Fussy, Roman (Rosemary) Fussy, Clarence (Phyllis) Fussy, Alfred Fussy, Frankie (Marlyn) Fussy, Lawrence (Irene) Fussy, Bill Fussy, Jerome Fussy, Barb Dudek, Florian Spiczka and mother and father-in-law Kate and Joe Dudek.

In honor of Mom’s wishes, a simple family service will be held later on. Delores will remain living in the hearts she touched with her kind and simple legacy.
