Jeffry B. Vander Plaats

Jeff was a stinker and always so much fun to be around! Some of my favorite memories are of him driving the boat on Big Sandy, telling jokes and the few opportunities that I heard him sing. Miss you bunches cousin.

I have lots of fond memories of Jeff, from watching him in The Sound of Music, helping rip the glass and interior out of his first?? bomber class race car, to trying to stay on the tube when he was driving the boat at Big Sandy. Jeff was always there with a smile. Love you Jeff

Just a bit more on Jeff and my relationship. We played a lot of golf together over the years, were on a bowling league together many years ago. We also went to the casino together on occasion to donate some money. The one big thing that stands out about our relationship is Jeff would ask me every spring and fall to help put the docks in and pull out of his parents cabin. It was the only time he would invite me up there unless he need help with leaf cleanup. I will miss him a lot

Jeff and I have been friends for about 40 years. We meet when he was working overnights at Rogers gas station in St. Louis Park. He loved his family very much and we would talk about our together a lot. Jeff loved racing, going to hockey games we had North Star season tickets together. He enjoyed playing golf and anything that had a motor that went fast. Jeff and I use to talk in the late evenings on my way home from the office during tax season and he was on the road driving. Jeff he would be there to help anyone out with projects or moving items around if needed. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

Jeff was a dear friend and best friend to my husband, Gary for many years. We enjoyed watching him race his car, sing in the barbershop quartet, play golf on a lazy Saturday afternoon, going fishing to try and catch the big one, double dates, and many other fond memories. Jeff was a true friend and we will miss him terribly. Rest with the Angels until we meet again. Prayers and sympathy to Kathryn and family and friends at this sad time.

Lots of great memories of my uncle Jeff! Going to races – Daytona, Bristol, Michigan, Gopher Hockey Games, Skiing. Watching him race his car #5! as a little boy. Hanging on for dear life on the back of tube at Big Sandy Lake… Jeff certainly enjoyed life and loved spending it with family and friends. Miss you uncle Jeff!

So sorry for your loss!! I remember that he made round to its because we always said we would do it when we got a round to it!

I remember growing up with him and always having Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter and birthdays at our house or Aunt Evies or Grandmas house. Playing hockey with him in his backyard, him taking my brother Matt and I to a North Stars game. Love you Jeff!! Until we meet again in the presence of Jesus!!!

handman house fixer, my favorite singer and I miss him so much

Jeff always had a smile on his face and a kind word to say when he stopped in the office at Ramler. I will truly miss him. Rest in peace bud! Joe P
