Linda Joy Huntington

     A public visitation will be held two hours prior to the private service.  

     Linda Joy Huntington age 66, of St. Joseph, MN (formally of Brooklyn Park, MN) passed peacefully on Sunday, March 7, 2021.  Linda was born in Minneapolis on February 21, 1955. She was one of four children to Virgil and Lillian (Pearson) Price. She graduated from Mound High School in 1973 and worked at North Memorial Hospital for 21 years as an LPN. In 1995, Linda received her two-year RN degree and continued working at North Memorial for an additional 24 years. She retired form  nursing on February 9, 2020, just before the Covid epidemic hit. She spent her entire career at North Memorial working on the Orthopedics unit. Linda also spent a few years working part-time as a nurse at the Anoka County Jail.  

     Linda enjoyed camping, skiing (both water and snow), golf and vacations in Mexico. She was active in Cub Scouts and a trained leader in Boy Scouts.  

     Linda was preceded in death by her daughter, Kaia of St. Joseph, MN; brothers Bruce Price of Phoenix, AZ, Greg Price of Mound, MN, and Layne Price of St. Cloud, MN. 

     Linda is survived by her husband of 44 years Jim; sons, Erik (Kelly) Huntington, Chad (Julie) Huntington and Neil (Tara) Huntington; four grandchildren Tucker, Payton,  Logan and Nora; one sister-in law, Sharon Price; and many relatives and friends.
