(“Hank”) Fischer August 13, 1955 in Milaca. Margie enjoyed writing poetry and was published in a compilation, The Best Poems and Poets of 2003, (The International Library of Poetry, 2004).

She spent over 30 years researching and assembling a significant genealogical record of her family. She was proud to be an 11th generation American.

Margie also loved sewing and gardening while raising her children.

She is survived by her sons William of Tucson, AZ and Tony Fischer of Sartell; sisters Mary Kiplinger of CA, Geraldine Stang, Rosella Garcia (Dan), Judith Holmgren, Ruth Zulkosky (Ken), Jennifer Maertens, Bonnie Jackels, Betsy Kardell, Laurel Hage; brothers Theodore, Judson (Sharon), all of MN, Tom of CT, Joe (Karen) of FL; ten grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Kathleen (Kate) Driver (Jackson, MI) and brother Richard.

Thanks to Chris Zitur and Mary Ann Ruprecht for your help, friendship and love. Margie’s children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were the most important to her. She dearly loved each of them.
