Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 4, 2014 at St. Augustine’s Catholic Church in St. Cloud for Bill L. Tacker, age 61, of St. Cloud, who passed away on Monday, July 28, 2014. Reverend Aaron Nett and Reverend Gregory Mastey will officiate. Placement of the Urn will take place at a later date.
Family and friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Sunday and from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Monday all at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud.
Bill was born on August 18, 1952 in Sterling, Colorado to Orville and Shirley (Fulton) Tacker. He married Mary Mastey on August 18, 1987 in Sartell, Minnesota. Bill was employed as a Journeyman Millwright at the Verso Paper Mill in Sartell the majority of his life.
Bill enjoyed reading, traveling, baseball, talk radio and old cars. He especially treasured all the time spent with his family and friends.
Bill is survived by his wife, Mary; children, Jason (Sarina), Josh, Billy, Derrick, Tammy (Kevin) Bayer, Tanya (Travis Lorsung) Tacker and Tessa (Bob) Petron; grandchildren Mia “Pookerbutts”, Gabriella, Olivia, Mercedes, Josie, Kylie and Easton; brothers, Robert and Dan; and sister, Betty McKie; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and infant daughter, Tracy.

My Prayers and Condolences for the Excellent Tacker Family. Bill Tacker was an amazingly Kind, Intelligent, Wise, Father and Husband. I enjoyed every minute of our time visiting. He had a contagious smile that I will never forget. I have no doubt he is Eternally Happy and in bliss, while driving the Lord around in the Heavens in his favorite classic automobile as he watches over his loved ones. I will Always be there for the Tackers, for I love them all.

I remember Bill as a wonderful little guy, then as a fun teenager, then as a devoted, proud father and as a grandfather. He was a wonderful man who will always be remembered by his family.
