Funeral Planning
Honoring Life for 5 Generations
When you meet with Daniel Funeral Home:
Most likely, within the first 24 hours of your loved one’s death, you will need to meet with a funeral home to begin the final arrangements. Without a doubt, this is a difficult time for you and your loved ones. Yet, it’s comforting to know every member of the funeral home staff will be there to do their utmost to make this difficult time a little bit easier. The Funeral Director will guide you in making all the necessary decisions. It’s good to know you are not alone.
You may consider bringing other family members with you. Assisting in making the final arrangement decisions can be very empowering and help us come to terms with the loss. If there are people in your life who you feel should be asked to participate, make sure you ask them. They can always decline.
The following checklist will help you remember what information about the decedent and items will be needed when meeting with a funeral arranger.

Once you have finalized many of the details of your service, you may want to collect special photos that will tell a story about your loved one. With a memorial service or funeral service, we offer a video tribute. We use your own unique photos and weave them together with tasteful background music to produce a custom video on DVD that will be viewable on any monitor throughout the service. This pictorial tribute, celebrating the memories of a lifetime, will be a cherished memorial for years to come. Additional copies of the video may be ordered for family and friends. It will also be available for viewing on your personal obituary page on our website.
