Daniel Funeral Home & Cremation Service

Cremation Services

Cremation may follow a funeral service or occur before a memorial service. Families can decide whether to have a traditional funeral service prior to cremation or not.

Even though you may have decided to do cremation, you may want to have a viewing before cremation takes place. This is important to know because cremation typically takes place immediately after the death and once all permissions have taken place. The body is usually cremated in a simple container, rather than a casket. If you decide to have a viewing prior to cremation, we do provide caskets for rent. This option is sometimes more cost effective and gives families the chance to gather and celebrate even when cremation is the preference.
