I can remember when we went camping , your Mom and dad treated me like one of the family.
As I can not make it on Friday,
my dad will be there, his resting spot is Assumption Mausoleum.

Robert A. Feiler, Sr.
May 22, 1930 – February 8, 2015
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, February 13, 2015 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in St. Cloud, MN for Robert Anthony Feiler, age 84 of St. Cloud, MN who died on Sunday, February 8, 2015 at his home. The Reverend Thomas Knoblach will be the celebrant. Inurnment will be in Assumption Mausoleum in St. Cloud.
Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud, and after 9:30 A.M. on Friday at the church. Parish Prayers will be at 7:30 P.M. at the funeral home in St. Cloud.
Robert was born on May 22, 1930, the son of John and Mary (Wax) Feiler, Jr. at Gladstone, ND. He graduated from Dickinson, ND High School in 1948. He then went on to attend the University of Notre Dame on a Track and Cross Country Athletic Scholarship graduating in 1952.
He then enlisted into the United States Air Force in 1952. He served his country overseas in Morocco and attained the rank of 1st Lieutenant when he was honorably discharged from active duty in 1955.
On November 14, 1959 Robert was united in marriage to Lillian E. Leingang at Mandan, ND. Five children were born to this union. Robert and his wife Lillian owned and operated Feiler Jewelers in St. Cloud, MN until he retired in 1996. He has continued to live in St. Cloud since that time.
He was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, V.F.W. Post 428, American Legion Post 76, Eagles Aerie #622, Elks Lodge Moose Lodge #1400 and Knights of Columbus Council #961.
In addition to his parents and his wife Lillian he was preceded in death by; one great granddaughter Cadence, his 11 brothers and sisters, Ewald, Adolph, Eleanor, Bill, Agnes, Dorothy, Fred, Anna Christine, Mary Kay, Joe, and Anna Maria.
Robert is survived by: his children, Bob Jr. (Cheryl) of St. Cloud, Liz (Guy) Fouquette of Foley, John (Nita) of Albany, Bill of St. Paul, Jim (Jackie) of St. Augusta; 20 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; many foster grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
The family would also like to extend a special thank you to Paige, Melissa, Rachel, and Yolanda of St. Croix Hospice for their thoughtful and loving care.

Our condolences to the family. Bob helped us choose our wedding rings in 1976. We remember him fondly. He was never to busy to show us the diamond that we had on lay away while we paid them off. A gracious man and honest. Peace to his memory.
