Hattie Laudenbach
October 14, 1934 – April 24, 2026

Hattie Laudenbach, age 91, of St. Cloud, passed away peacefully at home in St. Cloud with her family by her side, on Friday, April 24, 2026. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 1, 2026 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in St. Cloud. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 30, 2026 at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud and after 9:30 a.m. on Friday at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Reverend Derek Wiechmann and Reverend Tom Knoblach will officiate. Entombment will take place at Assumption Cemetery in St. Cloud.
Hattie was born on October 14, 1934, to Thomas and Frances (Przybytek) Philipsek in St. Cloud, Minnesota. She was united in marriage to Gerald Laudenbach on May 25, 1954 at St. John Cantius Catholic Church in St. Cloud. She worked at St. Germain Hotel and Stearns Manufacturing before raising her children and worked at JCPenney and Archies after her children were raised. Hattie was blessed to have a large family and was a proud mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was known for her quick wit, strong faith and her willingness to always help others. She enjoyed spending time with family, favorite dog Seymour, traveling, a good cup of coffee, time on her swing, cross stitch, flower gardening, crossword puzzles, Sudoku, playing cards, games, and the Hallmark Channel.
She is survived by her children, Sue (Rob) Senta of Walker, Linda Kitzmiller of Sartell, Jerry (Lisa) Laudenbach of St. Joseph, Judy (Ron) Stransky of Paynesville, David (Jodi) Laudenbach of Clearwater, Theresa (Jim) Thielen of St. Augusta, Scott (Stephanie) Laudenbach of St. Cloud, Matthew (Julie) Reberg of South Haven, Kari (Tim Barber) Laudenbach of New London, Mary (Dan Voigt) Laudenbach of St. Cloud; 19 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
Hattie was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald in 2007; parents; siblings, Lloyd, Leona Gould, Clara Neis, Stanley, Anthony, Everett; and infant sister Phyllis Ann.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at St. Cloud Hospital, Benedictine Cold Spring – Senior Rehabilitation and St. Croix Hospice for their care and compassion.
Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers as the family would like to honor Hattie by planting trees and flowers at Assumption/Calvary/Sacred Heart Cemeteries in her remembrance.
