Paul E. Plantenberg
November 27, 1927 – October 25, 2013

Paul Plantenberg, 85, of Port Richey Florida and formerly of St. Cloud Minnesota died while under the care of HPH Hospice in Hudson Florida. Paul was born November 27, 1927 in St. Cloud to Ben W. and Evelyn (Thompson) Plantenberg. He married Leone Leedahl on February 19, 1949 in St. Augustine’s Catholic Church in St. Cloud. He was the owner and operator of Plantenberg Wheel Service in St. Cloud until his retirement in 1978. He was very active as a scout leader in Boy Scouts and also enjoyed flying small aircraft, hunting, fishing and hiking.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Leone of Port Richey, FL; he is father and father-in-law to, Colleen and Gary Kittelson of Hudson, FL; Mary and Bill Perkins of Hanover, PA; Don and Vicki Plantenberg of Elk River, MN; Paul Plantenberg and Bob Hesse of Sarasota, FL; Nancy Kriner of Clewiston, FL; 15 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters S. Phyllis Plantenberg, OSB and Betty Wolney.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Don; sister, Pat Leisenheimer; and granddaughter, Becky Perkins.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 16, 2013 at Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud, with the Rev. Al Stangl officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. There will be visitation one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.

I remember all the good times they and my parents had when we all were younger. He and Leone are such really good christians and friends. There was never anything he couldnt fix. He will truely be missed by alot of people.
