So sorry to hear of cousin Don’s passing. My wife Mary and I were looking forward to seeing him at the cousin reunion in July. We remain with the faith that he has been received into the good Lord’s gentle hands.

Don sure could make us all laugh, get the party started, and keep it going! He was a wonderful companion for my mother before she passed on in 2000. I know he made her very happy.

How sad that Don has passed before we might see him again this summer. It was nice that I got to talk to him on the phone last year and found him cheerful and of clear mind. He was even joking a bit. So sad to loose the eldest grandchild of Edward and Helena Mayer. May he rest in eternal peace with other family members and friends who have gone on before to be with our Creator.

His obituary was impressive and I can imagine his funeral service will be well attended. So sorry that we can’t make it.
May God bless him and all who knew and loved him,
Richard & Caring Schwenk and family

My thoughts are with Mayer families on these days.
