Alicia C. "Alice" Jacobsen

January 10, 1951 – December 15, 2012

Funeral services celebrating the life of Alicia C. “Alice” Jacobsen will be at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 20, 2012 at South Santiago Lutheran Church, Clear Lake. Reverend David Solberg will officiate. Private interment will be at a later date. Alice was called home to heaven early in the morning on Saturday, December 15, 2012, following a brave and strong fight against a rare form of cancer.
Family and friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the Daniel Funeral Home, St. Cloud and after 12:00 Noon on Thursday at the church.
Alice was born in Gen. Trias, Cavite, Philippines on January 10, 1951. She came to the United States in 1977, and married her beloved husband in Norfolk, Virginia on September 11, 1977. They lived together in the St. Cloud area for 35 years, lovingly raising two children together. Alice worked as a bookkeeper, and most recently at St. Benedict’s Senior Community. She loved and was devoted to her family more than anything in this world.
Alice is survived by her husband, Curtis, 61, of Clear Lake; her children Jeremiah, 34, of Plymouth, and Melissa, 28, of Fullerton, California; as well as sisters Gorgonia, Zenaida, Angelina and Yolanda; and brother, Felipe; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Dominga, and father Domingo.
The family appreciates contributions in Alice’s name to the American Cancer Society, specifically earmarked for gallbladder cancer research.
