We knew Vonnie when she lived in Kentucky at Windy HOllow Campground. We kept up with her for many years after that. So sorry to hear of her passing!

Memorial Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 10, 2012 at Grace United Methodist Church in Paynesville for Vonnie M. Weber, age 83 of Paynesville who passed away on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at Eventide Lutheran Home in Moorhead peacefully in her sleep with her son Dave and his wife, Sharon at her side. Reverend Ric Koehn will officiate. Inurnment will take place at Salem Cemetery, rural Paynesville.
Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday at the Daniel-Anderson Funeral Home in Paynesville and after 10:00 a.m. on Monday at the church.
Vonnie was born on April 17, 1929 in Eden Valley, Minnesota to Ellis and Irma (Jones) Cossairt. She grew up on a farm near Eden Valley and loved to ride her horse. The family moved to Paynesville where she graduated from high school. Vonnie married Robert Weber on April 21, 1948 in Paynesville. She was employed by the Paynesville Press and Minnegasco. In 1968 Bob and Vonnie purchased and operated the Rhythm Bowl until 1980 and later Vonnie owned and operated the Hilltop Gift Shop. After closing the gift shop she moved to Atlanta, Georgia and then to Harrison, Arkansas before returning to Minnesota in 2007. She was a former member of Salem Church and Grace United Methodist Church.
Vonnie is survived by her sons, Donald (Sharon) of Post Falls, Idaho and Dave (Sharon) of Moorhead; nine grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; two great great grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Duane; and sister, Carol Hansen.

Sorry that we will not make it as you know we are hit with the snow. Talked to my dad and they will not make it either. I am sorry I never made it over to Morehead as we are building in Park Rapids, just a stone throw away. I always figured next time. Memories of Vonnie and Bob are very much still a highlight for me – the farm – my Barbie furniture (which I still have!!), ice cream, bowling, etc. She will be missed very much.
