Dorothy L. Kaeter

September 10, 1930 – June 23, 2011

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM on Monday, June 27, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in St. Cloud, for Dorothy L. Kaeter, 80, of St. Cloud, who passed away June 23, 2011. The Reverend Thomas Knoblach will officiate. Entombment will be in the Assumption Cemetery Mausoleum.
Friends may call from 4:00-8:00 PM on Sunday at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud, and from 10:00-11:00 AM on Monday at the church. Parish prayers will be at 5:00 PM and the Christian Women will pray at 6:30 PM on Sunday at the funeral home in St. Cloud.
Dorothy was born on September 10, 1930, in Onamia, to Thomas and Hulda (Swenson) Kuchera. She married Jim Kaeter on August 25, 1951. She graduated from the St. Cloud Hospital School of Nursing in 1951 and worked as a Registered Nurse at the St. Cloud Hospital for twenty years. Dorothy was known for her fine needlework.
Dorothy is survived by: her husband Jim; children, Tom of St. Cloud, Margaret Olesen of St. Cloud, Kathleen Rustad of Blaine; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; brothers Bill Kuchera, Jim Kuchera, and sister Mary Kinney.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Dorothy’s family would like to express their thanks to the staff of St. Benedict’s Hospice Care Center.
Memorials are preferred.
