Mary M. Middendorf

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 30, 2011 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in St. Cloud for Mary M. Middendorf, age 93 of St. Cloud who passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at St. Benedict’s Senior Community after a brief stay. Reverend Thomas Knoblach will officiate. Burial will take place at Assumption Cemetery, St. Cloud.
Family and friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud and after 10:00 a.m. on Thursday at the church. Parish prayers will be at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home in St. Cloud.
Mary was born on June 3, 1918 in Spring Hill, Minnesota to Michael and Gertrude (Weymann) Fuchs. She married Othmar M. Middendorf on October 27, 1941 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Richmond. She was a member of St. Anthony’s Parish.
Mary will be remembered for her impeccable home, beautiful flower beds, and her warm and caring way. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, knitting, crocheting and she especially loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughters, Mary Kay (Doug) Grand and Connie Gasser both of St. Cloud; grandchildren, Cara (Michael) Held of Sartell and David Grand of St. Cloud and Jenna Grand of St. Cloud.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Othmar on April 22, 1961; brothers, Mathew, John and Michael Fuchs; and sister, Ann Wurst.
