Rosemary was my aunt and Godmother. I will always cherish my memories of her. She was a warm, loving lady with a welcoming smile and ready laugh. Years ago she organized a large succesful family reunion. She will be missed. Heaven is a better place with her.

Rosemary was born January 8, 1926 in St. Cloud to John and Julia (Jueneman) Benson. She lived in the St. Cloud area most of her life. She was a 1943 graduate of St. Cloud Technical High School. Rosemary married Jerome (Jerry) Binsfeld on September 28, 1946 at St. Mary’s Cathedral in St. Cloud with whom she was co-owner of Binsfeld Jewelers until their retirement in 1987.
Rosemary was a member of the St. Peter’s Catholic Church, St. Cloud VFW #428 Auxiliary, the Eagles Aerie #622 Auxiliary, and RSVP. She especially enjoyed spending time volunteering at the many different places around St. Cloud after her retirement. Her most enjoyable times were spent with her family whether it was going “up north” or to Florida or just being at home with them. Golfing was a passion for Rosemary. A highlight of her golfing days was a hole-in-one! Her husband, Jerry encouraged her to golf and it became her source of healing after his death. Rosemary was also an excellent cook and seamstress and spent much time sewing and creating various projects.
Rosemary is survived by her children, Daniel (Rosemary) of Cold Spring, Kathleen (Rance) Armstrong of Sauk Rapids, Chuck (Jody) of Sartell, and Jeffrey (Connie) of Sartell. She has ten grandsons, one granddaughter, and three great-grandsons. She is also survived by sisters Rita Proell and Lucille Hetherington both of St. Cloud.
Her husband Jerome preceded her in death in 1989.
Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.

I will miss her
I am so sorry for this…we just talked about her and you smiled the entire time. May you and your family find peace.
To Danny, Kathy, Chuck, Jeff and your families. We are saddened to hear of the passing of Aunt Rosie. She was a great lady who lived a great life. She made our vacations fun when we came up there as kids. May the peace and comfort that only the Lord can provide at a time like this, be with you all.
Love,
Darrel and Cindy
I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your mother. She was a wonderful woman and I have fond memories of her. Jerry has been waiting a long time for her. Sincerely, Ginnie Kurr
