Loretta M. Trebtoske

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 30, 2011 at St. Augustine’s Catholic Church in St. Cloud for Loretta M. Trebtoske, age 83, of St. Cloud, who passed away at the St. Cloud Hospital on Tuesday, April 26, 2011. Burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery in St. Cloud.

Friends and family may call from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud and after 9:00 a.m. on Saturday at the church.

Loretta was born on January 2, 1928 in St. Cloud, Minnesota to Leo and Frieda (Lease) Condon. She married Richard P. Trebtoske on October 22, 1949 at St. Mary’s Cathedral in St. Cloud. Loretta was a homemaker the majority of her life, raising four children. She also worked at Herberger’s as a buyer and later a product demonstrator at Coborn’s. She was a member of St. Augustine’s Catholic Church in St. Cloud.

Loretta enjoyed spending time at the lake, especially pontoon rides and fishing. She treasured the time spent with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. The lasting memories of the many laughs, kisses, and hugs will remain forever.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Richard; children, Pat Schmitz of St. Cloud, Jan (Steve) Fuller of Minnetonka, Richard (Dana) of Elk River, Michael (LaDonna) of Maple Grove; grandchildren, Stacy (Ben) Jansky, Scott (Marie) Schmitz, Shannon Schmitz, Alex Fuller, Ema Trebtoske, and Cole Trebtoske; great-grandchildren, Jace, Jenna, Jake, and Sienna; brothers, Donald (Shirlie), Everette (Taffy), and Michael (Rose) Condon; and many nieces and nephews.

Loretta was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Michaela; son-in-law, Rick Schmitz; brothers, Philip and Paul Condon.
