My thoughts and prayers are with you all for the loss of your mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. At 91 she has lived a long and happy life and one I trust will bring all of you very happy memories.

Mass of Christian Burial celebrating the life of Maria Rothstein, 91, of St. Cloud will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in St. Cloud. Maria died on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at Sterling Park Care Center in Waite Park. Reverend Gregory Lieser and Reverend Thomas Knoblach will officiate. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery, St. Cloud.
Visitation will be one hour prior to services on Tuesday at the church.
Maria was born on January 26, 1920 in St. Martin, Minnesota to the late John and Elizabeth (Hoppe) Hagemann. She married Roman Rothstein on September 11, 1940 at St. Martin’s Catholic Church in St. Martin. She lived in St. Cloud most of her married life and was employed as a salesperson at Fandel’s and JCPenney’s for 16 years. She was a member of St. Anthony’s Parish, Christian Women and Catholic United Financial.
Maria enjoyed playing cards, casino trips and bingo. She also loved going fishing with Roman.
Maria is survived by her children, Adeline (Gerald) Duffey of St. Paul, Geraldine Rothstein of St. Cloud, Ron (Doris) of Bloomington; six grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roman in 1995; brother and sisters, Henry, Josephine and Bertha.
Memorials are preferred.

Addie and family. Not sure if you remember me we went to nursing school together and found out we were cousins. My sympathy in loss of your Mother, My Mom is still alive living in Morris will be 89 this year I will inform her of your Mom passing I remember meeting your Mom years ago. Mom is the only left in her family. Her youngest brother Ken just passed away in CO. If I remember correctly your Grandma was my Grandma sister.
Would be nice to hear from you been a few years.
