Guestbook
I am sad to learn of Bills passing. He recruited me into the National Guard in 1990. As a young soilder in a new job it was always nice to see Bill and spend time with him. He did not just recruit and forget about you. He always stopped in at the armory or at Ripley to see how you were. It was an honor Bill, I am glad to have known you and proud to have served with you.
It was an honor and a joy to have served with Bill. He recruited me into the st. cloud unit and we hellped each other in various ways while Bill worked for the city of st. cloud. I will miss his cheerful attitude. My sympathy is with his wife and children at this sad time, God keep you all in His comforting hands.
Shaun, Thoughts are with you today as you celebrate your father’s legacy.
I worked with Bill as a National Guard recruiter from 1993-1997. I always enjoyed Bill’s presence and learned a very important lesson from him. Bill SHOWED me that success wasn’t accidental. It resulted from long hours of hard work. And, he always engaged his work joyfully. It was an honor to have known him.
I have known Bill since he recruited my husband back in the 80’s. As a young couple Bill was not only a friend to my husband but a mentor to both of us. He was always able to bring humor and he genuinely cared about his recruits. It has been several years since I have seen Bill however his ability to make us laugh was something my husband and I continued to talk about. Ironically this weekend my husband told our daughter a story about putting shoe polish on the eye piece of a piece of equipment during drill then they got Bill to look through it. Bill was a great man and truly made a difference in our lives. Thank you sharing your husband and father, he will truly be missed.
Sorry for your loss, Pat.
PRAYERS,.
My deepest sympathy.
Although I didn’t get to visit much with uncle bill, he will be missed. He was a great guy and when I did get to visit with him he always made me laugh! To my family, my prayers and sympathy for your lose as well!!

Pat, Shaun & Misty~i would like to extend my deepest sympathies to you at this time. Bill was a wonderful man and will be greatly missed by all the people whose lives he touched. May you find comfort and peace in yours. Take care….and God bless.
Shaun,
I’m so sorry about your loss. I know that Bill and you were able to do some amazingly cool father/son outings and I know those memories will be cherished!
Tricia, the kids, and I will be praying for you and your family.
I was always amazed at how many people Bill knew, and that all of them seem to genuinely like and respect him. Though it is easy to see why, he made everyone feel like they were his friend. You were always comfortable around him and there were always laughs shared. Bill will be greatly missed, but all that knew him have good times to look back on. Our sympathies are with the Hagglund family during this difficult time. Jeff Lenzen and family
My deepest sympathies are with the entire family. I know you will carry him in your hearts forever. Please know that I am thinking of you with much love and sorrow.

Family of Bill: You all have my sincere sympathy. I worked with Bill from 1993 until he retired in 1999 with the MN Army National Guard Recruiting Force. He was always a source of inspiration and he truly tried to make a difference for all the young people he enlisted. He had a great sense of humor and I’m sure you will all miss him much.
Pat and Family, You have my sincere condolences. Please know that you all are in my thoughts and prayers.
I have now known Bill for 20 years and each meeting included warmth, many jokes and many laughs. I have felt welcome and cared for during each and every moment in Bill and Pat’s home. Their’s was my home away from home while I was @SCSU. I’ll miss Bill but will continue to count Shaun and family among my close friends.
Bill made me laugh. Knowing him for almost 30 years and without a doubt we would always share a laugh and a smile when we ran into each other. Our loss is heavens gain. Thoughts and prayers to Shaun, Misty and Patty.
I was fortunate enough to meet Bill at several sporting events with Shaun, and without fail, he had a smile, a laugh and a hearty wisecrack for anyone he met. Peace to the entire Hagglund family, and our sympathies on their loss.

Bill was a great friend and co-worker. He taught me many things. My condolences to his family and friends. I’m sure Bill is at peace in heaven.
The St. Cloud Police Department will not be the same without Bill. He was a great mentor, person, and friend. I know I would not be the same person I am today had Bill not been a part of my life. My thoughts and prayers are with the Hagglund Family, as well as everyone in Bill’s life, throughout this difficult time. Bill, you will be greatly missed.
My thoughts and prayers go out to you during this difficult time. He was a wonderful co-worker and will be missed. Rest in peace, Bill.
