Dear family of Steve,
I am so sorry to hear the news that Steve was sick and has passed away. Wish I would of known sooner.
Prayers and thoughts are with you and the whole family.
Karelle (Stenger) Steinhofer

We have lost an awesome man who loved life like we all should. My special memories include playing tennis (loser bought a 6pk) yahtzee at the Dwyer home, where no one rolled more Yahtzees (for a 6pk) than Steve. Some of us might remember a ride home from Steve’s dad from Willmar one night, because everyone was afraid to get in the car with Alice. Moms have a way of explaining how we screwed up that takes many words, where Dads say the same thing in one sentence. Steve was a good friend to me during a struggle in my life, while he was going through his own. The priest at his funeral was right, when he said he would do anything for his friends and family. He was never selfish and was a blessing in so many lives. During the service, I remember silently thanking Steve for being part of the planning of the day, and easing the process for Sandy and his children. What love they must have had each day of their lives! I will miss him, and continue to live my life according to God’s plan, as I know Steve did and pray that his friendship will continue in his new life with God.

Sandy, I know how happy he made you, and what a joy your life has been with such a loving man. I pray for your strength each day ahead, and that your heart is at peace, knowing he will always be with you.

Love,
Joanie

Dear Sandy and Family,
We all at C&L would like to send our deepest sympathy. Al though we can not begin to understand your loss, know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.
Kevin, Brent, Beth and all the gang here.

Dear Sandy and Dwyer Family, Please know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers as you grieve the loss of your beloved, Steve. Although our lives hadn’t been blessed by knowing Steve personally, we were graced with his influence vicariously when hearing about him through Joan (my sister) and Nick. You and all your friends have suffered a great loss. Still our mutual faith tells us that the loss is temporary (though no less painful at this time) because of the saving power of our Lord Jesus. May our hope in the resurrection lighten your sorrows day by day.

Thank you Sharon for your fond memories and kind words. He will be missed by many friends and family members. Great to hear from you too! Nancy

My deepest sympathies to the entire family. Steve was a great guy. I graduated with Nancy and Steve always seemed to be where we were. Rest in peace Steve. Cherish the memories

Sandy, we are so sorry for your loss, there are no words to say in a time like this that will make the pain go away, know that you made Steve’s life complete and loved him unconditionally and to the end, now in time, you will reunite and be together again, time will heal, the memories will make it bearable. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.
